As I'm writing this blog post, it is about 40 degrees outside and the sun is shining. They're talking 50's by the beginning of next week; so I hope they are right.
Wasn't sure what to write, so I thought I would just give you an update on what's going on here.
I am continuing with the second CollegePlus leadership course and am finishing up Week 6; which leaves me with two more weeks to go. I have very much been enjoying all of the writing and it's been wonderful to work alongside of my best friend, Kaleigh. We each enjoy sharing what we have written, editing the other's assignments, and talking about our scores throughout the week. Eight weeks seems like a long time though, for getting three credits; so I'm trying to decide if later on, I should go back and do another SLC course, as an option; but we shall see in the months to follow. After finishing this course and my Psychology class through Straighterline, I should be at 17 credits. I will then have my degree consultation and decide which courses to take. After this, I will continue to write to earn credit. Because I will then work on two Journalism courses through BYU and UND. One will be on Persuasive writing and the other is an Introduction to Media Writing--which I am looking forward to both very much.
With warmer weather on the way, this will mean that I should start up riding again; just as soon as the mud dries up. By mid-April, I hope to start training my Welsh pony mare, Sky, to ride under saddle. We did groundwork last fall--like ground driving and putting weight in the stirrups--but now it's time to start getting on her back. She's a smart little thing and I would love to show her in either English or Western at some local pony shows. JubiLee and I will probably hit the same shows that we did last year; but this year, not the county fair. Got too old for that, so now we're focusing on bettering our riding skills and making a great comeback with this coming show season. As for McAnna, she and I will continue to drive in the shows where we can. We don't have a lot of driving events in our area, so it's just getting to the ones that do happen. She's seven this year, so she's in the prime of her life to pull the cart. She may have short legs, but she's got the stamina when she's conditioned well.
Reminisced a little on Saturday. With all the talk of Kyla's graduation, it made me get my gown, cap, tassel, and medallion out. After two years of these items hanging in the closet or sitting pretty on the shelf, I've come to the conclusion that I'm old. It felt odd to wear it all again and such a strange, "long ago" feeling crept up. But, it's a part of the past now, and it's enjoyable to watch each of my friends graduating from either high school or college. :)
Can't wait for the exercise season to roll around again. Biking and running are all part of that. I do miss the Homeschool track and field meets, as there is no competition now. :-P Hard for me to believe that my last one was already two years ago. Wow... But I have been doing a little stretching and running in place inside the house, but there's only so much one can do inside. Don't have too much time to go snowboarding or sledding with my Mom right now--with finishing up the leadership course and getting other projects done. However, cross-country skiing is always a fun way to get exercise, because I don't have to go far to do it.
With other news, I'm busy preparing for our Easter Sunday musical activities. Preparing for a part in the young ladies ensemble and playing for the choir, along with the normal Sunday music schedule. Also, I've been continuing to attend the ICBF Bible Studies once a week. They are also wonderful for getting together with my friends and "breaking up" the week's hectic activities.
That's all for now, folks. Hope you're staying "comfortable" in whatever weather conditions you live in.
Sister in Christ,
Anna

Sounds like you're doing well! I haven't had much chance to talk to you lately at church (seems I'm missing for being sick, or you're missing for being sick, or we have to run right after church). I totally understand about feeling old. =)
If you don't mind my asking, what is ICBF?
Thanks, Kaleigh. :) You're doing great, too. Almost finished! HAHA..I'm sure you don't. :D
Yes, it is awesome...and it's tomorrow night again. :D
Thank you, Rebecca. :) Haha..yes, it's one thing or another. :P
No, I don't mind at all. It's an online Bible Study that I attend with some of my college friends and their siblings. :) Here's a link to help explain: http://icbfblog.blogspot.com/
